  • I still wake up every day, missing Russell, hoping it was just a bad dream…only for reality to come crashing down on me. 💔🐶 I’m so grateful to all the friends who’ve been there for me, trying to offer comfort and companionship; I’m truly blessed. ❤️

  • I keep looking up, expecting Russell to be on the couch or in his nest of blankets. I keep expecting to hear the clatter of his nails on the kitchen floor. I keep expecting to hear him woof and growl at the slamming of a car door. I keep expecting him to greet me @ the door. 💔🐶

  • Nobody tells you how much this hurts…or maybe they did and I just didn’t realize? I’ve never lost a pet as an adult; it’s been less than 12 hours and I feel like it’s been an eternity. I don’t know what I’m going to do without Russell, the world just feels so…empty. 💔🐶
